Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader Tobacco is a blend of bright an dark Virginias with Latakia and Turkish leaf for a cool, medium bodied smoke. This creates a light, almost airy English, with subtle tobacco flavours. The Latakia does not dominate the blend yet it is certainly noticeable. Meanwhile, some mild Virginia sweetness tickles your palate  yet it is not cloying. There is also a nice amount of oriental spice yet it is not acrid. Overall, Squadron leader is a delicately blended mixture of high quality tobaccos that every pipe enthusiast should try.
