Once upon a time, menthol was all the rage. Menthol this, menthol that, the market was awash. Of course, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know there’s since been a menthol ban imposed on menthol cigarettes – sad for all those who love the minty fresh taste. Put the handkerchiefs away, though. The ban didn’t spell the end of menthol flavours forever. We launched our first lot of Rizla flavour cards back in 2020, keeping the taste alive in the process. They were so well received we thought we’d upgrade them.

It may sound like it’s more of the same taste-wise. That’s not a million miles from the truth, but we’ve definitely added an extra bit of oomph. Rizla Xtreme offers a similar taste experience to what you’ll be used to, with menthol and mint options still on offer. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, as they say. So, what makes them so special? The main difference lies in the time it takes for flavour infusion to take place. We’ve cut this in half, allowing you to enjoy the fresh notes quicker than ever before. Whereas previously you’d be looking at a minimum of 60 minutes, now they can be good to go in as little as half an hour.

Using our flavour cards couldn’t be easier. Simply leave one inside your chosen packet to infuse the contents within. Leave it to do its thing and, hey presto, there’s that refreshing menthol flavour we all know and love. If you’re after a little more intensity and boldness, let the card settle in for longer. The more it’s allowed to infuse, the more profound the taste.
