Brand founder Dion Giolito spent around 15 years working in the retail side of tobacco, including running his own store. Once the inevitable itch to create his own cigar emerged, he teamed up with Paul Palmer of Casa Fernandez, and in 2006, Illusione was born. From the get-go, Giolito wanted Illusione to stand out from the rest of the industry. Using a mixture of evocative packaging and thought-provoking names, Illusione is a boutique cigar made for the smoker that wants to ponder the origins of the universe while burning through their favourite stick.
