Cigar clubs are the height of extravagance and exclusivity, often hosting some of the world’s wealthiest business people and whole range of celebrities in the most luxurious of settings.

For decades, cigar clubs have drawn a plethora of affluent clients, but a worldwide ban on smoking has encouraged a drive in popularity across the globe. Often found in big cities, many of the most expensive cigar clubs provide more than just a smoking lounge, offering a wide range of entertainment and fine dining to please the super-rich.

Here is a list of our favourite luxurious cigar clubs to get you inspired, so visit Havana House and shop a wide range of cigars online and turn your favourite spot of the house into your own cigar club to relax and unwind.

Library Bar, Dubai

The highlight of this hub of wealth is the impressive interior, which offers guests the chance to relax on leather couches and high quality leather chairs. Although a range of fine dining and cocktails are available, the main menu at Library Bar exclusively features luxury cigars sourced from across the globe, ensuring only the best for the local super-wealthy. Oh and if you decide for a bit of fresh air, step outside and take advantage of the golf course that is situated right next to the beach.

The Cigar Club, London

This club is located in the Ritz Hotel in London, UK and is the most expensive of its kind in the world, it draws crowds of ultra-affluent guests on reputation alone. However, this top cigar lounge certainly doesn’t disappoint, offering a choice of luxurious interior design or immaculately manicured green garden as the backdrop for its vast range of the world’s greatest cigars.

Guests have a choice to either sit inside in the very decorate and luxurious interior, or outside in the beautiful green garden pavilion. There are very few cigar clubs in the world that offer as wide a variety of cigars, as The Cigar Club, and it’s easily the most expensive and high-end cigar club in the United Kingdom.

The Carnegie Club, New York

The Carnegie Club is perhaps the highest end and most expensive cigar club in New York City. Some of the rarest and priciest cigars can be found here. The interior of the Carnegie Club is also very Gothic, setting it wide apart from not only other cigar clubs in New York, but from the entire world as well. In addition, there’s also a bar that offers some very exotic drinks and cocktails.

Redmoon, Beijing, China

This cigar club is also a restaurant, but they still dedicate quite a large amount of space that serves as just a cigar only area. The bar offers a number of high-end, exotic forms of wines, whiskies and cocktails whilst traditional Chinese music plays in the background adding to the overall experience. The Redmoon unsurprisingly has a very Oriental theme and feel to it, making it significantly more unique than your average cigar club.

Additionally, unlike many other cigar bars, you can visit the Redmoon throughout the day, starting at noon.

Capella Bar and Cigar Lounge, Dusseldorf

Many consider the Capella Bar and Cigar Lounge in Dusseldorf, to be the largest cigar club in Germany and one of the largest in Europe. It has been the recipient of many bar awards throughout the past decade, which is no doubt attributed to the very luxurious décor, comfortable furniture, large menu, an excellent variety of expensive drinks at the bar and a very calm cigar lounge. If you ever embark on a personal quest to visit as many cigar clubs as you can, this one has to be on your list. The Capella Bar and Cigar Lounge is opened every day in the middle of the afternoon, so it’s definitely a more evening oriented cigar lounge.
